Back in 2022, Joseph Aleman called police claiming he had killed someone. Now he will spend the next 56 years behind bars for the crime.
SAN ANTONIO — A Bexar County jury has found Joseph Aleman guilty of stabbing his former friend to death with a sword back in 2022.
In August 2022, local authorities responded to a 911 call by Aleman who reported that he had killed someone.
Upon arrival, police say Aleman led them inside and showed them Victor Ochoa’s body, which had suffered fatal stab wounds “from a sword.”
“I am incredibly proud of the prosecution team’s unwavering commitment to this case,” Bexar County DA Gonzales said. “Their dedication ensured that every fact was brought to light and ultimately, the truth prevailed in court.”
A jury in the 186th District Court sentenced Aleman to 56 years in prison.
