The adoption special is being held as all of their locations are at full capacity, creating a critical situation for the “at-risk” animals in their care.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA) has announced that they will be hosting an adoption special as all of their locations have reached capacity.
The organization says the fact they are at full capacity across all locations is creating a critical situation for the “at-risk” animals in their care, significantly limiting them in their ability to save the lives of vulnerable pets.
SAPA is calling on the San Antonio community during this crucial time as they have a wide selection of highly adoptable and foster-ready pets waiting to find their loving home and family.
“Our mission has always been to save as many lives as possible, but right now, we need our community’s support more than ever,” said Joel McLellan, Senior Director of Programs and Operations SAPA. “Every adoption and foster placement creates space to rescue another animal in need. With adoption fees waived, now is the time to help us save lives.”
The adoption special will be held from Friday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 26. During this time, SAPA says all adoption fees will be waived for most of their pets in hopes of making it easier to bring home a loving companion.
