San Antonio physician arrested after employee finds hidden camera in staff bathroom

Dr. Marshal Brittan Silva, a physician at a far west-side H-E-B Wellness Primary Care office, is accused of placing a hidden camera inside an employee bathroom.

SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio physician was arrested Tuesday after an affidavit alleges he placed a hidden camera inside an employee bathroom.

Records state an employee at an H-E-B Wellness Primary Care office located on the 3900 block of Wiseman Boulevard, discovered a “covert video device” disguised as a vehicle key fob while going to the bathroom.

Investigators made contact with 37-year-old Dr. Marshal Brittan Silva who confirmed that the hidden camera belonged to him and admitted his intent to record individuals using the bathroom, according to arrest documents.

Silva told investigators he was aware individuals would use the staff bathroom to remove their clothing and underwear and would be exposing an intimate area of their bodies while using the bathroom.

He was charged with Invasive Visual Recording.
