SAN ANTONIO — A woman was found with a gunshot wound on the side of the road on the southwest side Saturday night, San Antonio authorities said.
Police discovered a stalled vehicle at the 5800 block of Ray Ellison Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. and upon further investigation they found a woman with a gunshot wound.
Police believe the woman may have been in an argument with the suspect when it escalated and the woman was shot. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police did not give a description of the suspect.
SAPD said this is an ongoing investigation.
