San Antonio police investigating woman’s death at a home near downtown

According to SAPD, there are no known suspects at this time and it is not yet known what led to the woman’s death.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating the death of a woman found unresponsive early Tuesday morning at a home near downtown.

Officers were dispatched around 5 a.m. to a property in the 200 block of Lotus Street for a report of an injured/sick person, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

When officers arrived, they spoke with a resident who had been staying at the home. That person told officers they found a woman, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, unconscious inside the home and attempted CPR until emergency crews arrived.

Police said EMS also attempted life-saving measures but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said there were no prior calls for service at that location. There are no known suspects at this time and it is not yet known what led to the woman’s death.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police emphasized that the information is preliminary and subject to change as the case develops.
