San Antonio police release images of suspects in two aggravated robberies

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are providing new pictures of suspects involved in two separate aggravated robberies both happening about two weeks apart in San Antonio.

One of the aggravated robberies happened on September 21. The second happened on October 4.

On September 21, police said a person entered the Randall Food Mart on Randall Avenue, pointing a gun at an employee. The suspect demanded money from the register and after the employee handed it over, the suspect ran away before police arrived.

It’s unclear how much money was stolen, but you can see in the pictures the suspect has distinct tattoos on their hands.

On October 4, around 6:30 a.m., police said a woman was sitting in front of Centro Info on Commerce Street when a person asked her for a cigarette. Police said after she handed one over, the man pulled out a knife and stole the woman’s purse.

The suspect ran away, eventually ditching the purse in front of a nearby restaurant.

Police are asking anyone with information about either suspect to come forward. There’s a reward of up to $5,000 in each case for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with tips is asked to call San Antonio Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP.
