The San Antonio Police Department will auction off vehicles next week at the city’s impound facility.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department is hosting a public vehicle auction next week, giving residents a chance to bid on a variety of cars.
The auction is scheduled for April 7 at the City of San Antonio Vehicle Impound Facility, located at 3625 Growdon Road.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. for viewing and bidder registration, with the auction beginning at 6 p.m.
Officials say bidders must register before the sale starts, and all purchases must be paid for the same day using cash or a credit card. American Express will not be accepted.
Vehicles must be picked up either the evening of the auction between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., or during designated pickup times on the following Wednesday through Friday.
Authorities encourage anyone interested to arrive early to register and inspect available vehicles.
