San Antonio Rodeo: Who’s performing on Monday, Feb. 16?

The music lineup is as deep as ever as the rodeo celebrates 77 years in the Alamo City.

SAN ANTONIO — The return of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo brings another deep musical lineup, with musicians performing every single day at one of the biggest events of the year in the Alamo City.

And also, for these next couple weeks, one of the best places in town to be if you’ve got your dancing shoes on.

For Monday, Feb. 16, patrons who buy tickets to the 7 p.m. rodeo at Frost Bank Center will have the opportunity to catch Shenandoah, the long-running Alabama band that has racked up several No. 1 country hits over the years, including “Two Dozen Roses” and “Next to You, Next to Me.” Shenandoah won the Grammy for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals in 1996 for “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart.”

As with all rodeo concerts, Shenandoah is expected to start playing about 15 minutes after the end of PRCA rodeo competition, which lasts about two hours. The concert will run between 60 and 75 minutes, and tickets are available here
