SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio business is now stepping up to help the community celebrate the holidays while giving back.
San Antonio RV is raising money for the San Antonio Food Bank by donating a brand-new RV to one lucky winner.
It only costs $100 to play the raffle for a 2025 Forest River Cherokee Wolf RV worth $30,000.
The San Antonio Food Bank says one ticket can make 700 meals for the community.
The electric vehicle can hold up to six people. There’s a queen bed up front. Oversized bunks in the back. It’s perfect for anyone camping and looking for a good cause to support.
This is the second time San Antonio RV has done a raffle giveaway for the San Antonio Food Bank.
“I just like to step up and be there with them and just, you know, I’m glad that we can do it,” Matt McConnell owner of San Antonio RVs.
The San Antonio Food Bank says they do see a need to feed families more than ever during the holidays.
“All of the donations that come through this RV raffle are going to help us to meet the need for the holiday season through meals on the table,” said Destiny Stivers, San Antonio Food Bank director of philanthropy.
This comes after the government shutdown and work still being done to feed the Hill Country after the deadly flooding.
The food bank is selling up to a thousand tickets for this raffle. They say nearly 200 tickets were sold but they’re expecting a surge before the drawing on December 15.
