San Antonio scratch-off player wins $1M — and stays anonymous

A lucky San Antonio resident claimed a $1M Texas Lottery scratch-off prize after buying the ticket at a Circle K on San Pedro Avenue.

SAN ANTONIO — Someone in San Antonio is feeling instant millionaire vibes after claiming a $1M winning scratch-off ticket from the Texas Lottery.

Lottery officials say a local resident claimed one of the top prizes in the Instant Millions scratch ticket game. The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K #2740924, located at 9697 San Pedro Ave.

The lucky winner chose to remain anonymous, but their win is anything but low-key.

The Circle K store that sold the ticket may also get to celebrate. Under the Texas Lottery Retailer Bonus Program, the store could be eligible for a $10,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.

This marks the second of four $1 million top prizes claimed in the Instant Millions game so far. The scratch-off offers more than $91.3 million in total prizes, with overall odds of winning any prize listed at one in 3.80, including break-even tickets.

So if you’ve been holding onto a scratcher, or feeling lucky, it might be time to double-check those tickets.
