San Antonio Police investigate a shooting where a man was wounded in the arm during a phone exchange.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are investigating after a man was found shot in the arm on the east side of town Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. near a bus stop on Dignowity Hill.
Police say the victim possibly may have met up with two people initially to exchange a phone when he was shot in the arm.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. The suspects, one male and one female, fled from the scene following the shooting.
Police say the victim went into the McDonalds nearby for help. Multiple people possibly witnessed the shooting, according to police.
