SAN ANTONIO — When it comes to keeping positivity despite several non-postseason years, San Antonio Spurs fans rank among the best.
Vegas Insider recently released rankings of the top positive fan bases in the league, and the Spurs faithful finished at No. 3 behind the Jazz and Nets. Additionally, the Spurs fan base was ranked No. 30 in the least negative fan base among NBA teams.
“Some NBA corners are surprisingly wholesome. Utah Jazz fans come out on top for positivity, with over half of their subreddit’s comments being positive. Nets and Spurs fans are also spreading the good vibes,” posted Vegas Insider.

According to Vegas Insider, the rankings were based on 1,384,333 comments from all 30 NBA team subreddits using Python. Swear Word Detection and used the VADER Sentiment Analyzer to identify comments as positive, negative, or neutral.
In case you were wondering, Spurs fans use the swear word “sh*t” the most and placing them No. 7 in the “Go To Swear Word” rankings.
With the right path the team is taking, it is likely to be among the best next season. You know, Spurs fans will keep the good vibes going and will keep it clean.
And even Spurs All-Star Victor Wembanyama tipped his cap to Spurs fans when he read the rankings.
“When I’m in a positive comment competition and my opponent is a Spurs fan,” he posted on X.
