San Antonio Spurs launch new loyalty rewards program for fans to earn perks at games and online

Spurs fans can earn points for attending games, buying tickets, shopping at the team store and purchasing concessions at Frost Bank Center.

SAN ANTONIO — Spurs fans now have a new way to turn their team spirit into rewards.

The San Antonio Spurs announced Thursday the launch of Spurs Rewards, a new fan loyalty program designed to reward supporters for attending games, making purchases and interacting with the team throughout the season.

According to the Spurs, the program officially tips off March 12 during the team’s game against the Denver Nuggets and allows fans to earn points through both in-person and digital activities.

Officials said fans can earn points for a variety of activities, including attending games at the Frost Bank Center, purchasing single-game tickets through Ticketmaster, shopping at the Spurs Official Fan Shop and buying concessions during games.

Fans can also rack up points by checking in at events, arriving early to games and completing certain digital actions through the team’s mobile app, according to the Spurs.

Those points can then be redeemed for perks like game tickets, retail and concession credits and fan giveaways.

Fans who sign up for the rewards program by March 22 can also receive up to 15% off tickets to upcoming home games on April 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers and April 8 against the Portland Trail Blazers, according to the Spurs.

Fans can sign up for the free program by texting “REWARDS” to 210-444-5940 or through the official Spurs mobile app.
