SAN ANTONIO — Celebrate the last days of summer at the San Antonio Zoo for just $8 on Thursday.
San Antonio Zoo announced Bexar County residents can enjoy the amazing attractions for $8 on August 7, as part of Locals Day.
The zoo said Locals Day is a unique opportunity for residents to experience and enjoy San Antonio Zoo’s conservation efforts, animal care and education efforts.
You can also beat the heat at designated “Cool Zones,” presented by Beluga Air, located throughout the Zoo, and enjoy water play at The Riverbank in Kronkosky’s Nature Spot.
The Locals Day deal is available to every Bear County resident, with proof of residency. Acceptable forms to prove residency include an ID, driver’s license, or utility bill with Bexar County resident address. The address must say they live in the Bexar County limits.
Locals Day tickets can be purchased in person or online.
The remaining Locals Day 2025 dates are as follows: September 6, September 14, October 10, November 28 and December 5.
