SAN ANTONIO — Have a wild day of fun at the San Antonio Zoo for just $8 on Sunday.
The zoo announced Bexar County residents can enjoy the amazing attractions from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on September 14, as part of Locals Day.
Locals Day is a unique opportunity for residents to experience and enjoy San Antonio Zoo’s conservation efforts, animal care and education efforts, the zoo says.
You can also beat the heat at designated “Cool Zones,” presented by Beluga Air, located throughout the Zoo, and enjoy water play at The Riverbank in Kronkosky’s Nature Spot.
The Locals Day deal is available to every Bear County resident, with proof of residency. Acceptable forms to prove residency include an ID, driver’s license, or utility bill with Bexar County resident address. The address must say they live in the Bexar County limits.
Locals Day tickets can be purchased in person or online.
The remaining Locals Day 2025 dates are as follows: October 10, November 28 and December 5.
