SAN ANTONIO — Saturday, Feb. 7, the San Antonio Zoo is offering local residents discount admissions for Locals Day.

The zoo says Locals Days discounts allows even more people to learn about how the zoo combines conservation, animal care, and how the zoo preserves future wildlife. It’s also a way to show gratitude towards the residents of San Antonio and Bexar County. This is the second Saturday in a row that the zoo has offered the Locals Day.

For this visit, guests will be able to experience the zoo’s latest exhibit, Congo Falls, featuring several gorillas who are San Antonio’s newest residents.

Visitors will need to show proof of Bexar County residency in order to receive the discount..

The zoo said discounted admissions can be purchased online. The next Locals Day will be Sunday, Feb. 22.
