San Antonio Zoo offers free June entry to Texas teachers

The zoo is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Month giving all Texas teachers free admission to the zoo.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Zoo wants to show their appreciation for teachers by giving them free admission to the zoo all month long!

Not only will the teachers get free admission to the zoo, but thanks to a partnership with H-E-B they will also be offered 50% off Any Day Tickets for up to four guests.

“As a longtime supporter of the San Antonio Zoo, we are excited to sponsor this opportunity for our teachers who work tirelessly throughout the year to educate our youth,” said Monica Garza, H-E-B Public Affairs. “At H-E-B, we are deeply committed to supporting our teachers, and this is a way for us to show our appreciation, by giving them an opportunity to experience and enjoy the zoo as they kick-off the summer break.”

This offer is only valid from June 1 through June 30.

Teachers will need to bring a driver’s license and a copy of their teacher’s certificate or a photo ID badge from their school.

They must also be an active instructor at an accredited K-12 public, private or charter institution.

“Texas Teachers help make a difference in the lives of so many students every day,” said Tim Morrow, President & CEO of San Antonio Zoo. “As a token of our appreciation, we are honored to offer complimentary admission to these changemakers all month long. Kick off the summer right and stop by for a wild day of adventure on us!”

Educators can use this offer more than once but cannot combine this offer with any other offers or discounts.
