It is hard to imagine shopping at any other grocery store in the San Antonio area. H-E-B is a giant in the grocery game in Texas and now one San Antonio-area town is getting its first-ever store.
The first Cibolo H-E-B opens to customers on Wednesday, January 25 at 6 a.m., according to a news release. The new H-E-B is located at 850 FM 1103, Cibolo, TX 78108.
The 110,000-square-foot H-E-B will have H-E-B Curbside, so customers can order their groceries online and have one of the employees put the groceries in their car at one of the designated pick-up areas. The store will also have home delivery where H-E-B will bring groceries to your home after placing an order online. The location will also have an H-E-B Pharmacy with drive-thru services.
The Cibolo location will feature the newest addition to H-E-B stores, the H-E-B Brand Shop, offering an array of H-E-B merchandise like stickers, shirts, cups, coffee mugs, kids clothes, baby clothes, and shoes, all with H-E-B designs and logos. The release didn’t state if there would be a Home by H-E-B department, like the one at the nearby New Braunfels store.

Shirts, shoes, and reusable bags are all up for grabs in Kerrville. The new Cibolo location will also have an H-E-B Brand Shop when it opens on Wednesday.

According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the $8.2 million store began construction in November 2021 and was completed sooner than the March 22 completion date.
