The Majestic Theatre’s 2025-2026 lineup brings both classics like Hamilton and newcomers like “& Juliet” to San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO — The new season of Broadway musicals coming to San Antonio is bringing a mix of familiar classics and new stories to the Majestic Theatre.
Earlier this month, the historic downtown theater unvieled its 2025-2026 Broadway in San Antonio lineup on social media. The titles include the enduring favorite and ticket-selling phenomenon Hamilton. They also include acclaimed newcomer “& Juliet”, which reimagines Juliet’s choices from the classic Shakespeare play.

Kimberly Akimbo
Dates: Sep 23 – 28, 2025
Kimberly Akimbo is the story of a teenage girl named Kimberly Levaco, who suffers from a condition that rapidly accelerates the aging process. Before she has had a chance to venture forth into the world as an adult, she finds herself turning into an old woman. The musical is full of quirky humor and social satire.
The Outsiders
Dates: Oct 28 – Nov 2, 2025
The music is adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s classic novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s film and follows the story of Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade and their Greaser family of ‘outsiders’ battling with their affluent rivals, the Socs. It is set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967.
Beauty and the Beast
Dates: Nov 19 – 30, 2025
The Majestic invites you to “Be Our Guest” and feel “Human Again” with the classic tale of Belle falling for the Beast despite their initial unpleasant meeting. The quintessential Alan Menkin songs from the Disney version are joined by fresh songs composed just for the stage version.
Elf: The Musical
Dates: Dec 23 – 28, 2025
The funny and heartwarming tale of Buddy the Elf trying to find his dad in the big city brings together kids and adults for an entertaining holiday tale. It is definitely one to add to the holiday calendar this year!
Water for Elephants
Dates: Jan 20 – 25, 2026
One of the shows that is getting a debut here in San Antonio, this fresh musical depicts the story of a young man who jumps on a train and find a new life with a traveling circus. The heartwarming story has a message of finding adventure at any age.
A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical
Feb 24 – Mar 1, 2026
The biographical musical tells the amazing story of a Brooklyn kid who became an American rock icon. The music in the show, which was seeminly made for a Broadway hit, pulls from Neil Diamond’s repertoire and includes classics like “America,” “Forever in Blue Jeans,” and “Sweet Caroline.”
Tina: The Tina Turner Musical
Apr 3 – 4, 2026
Tina Turner broke barriers in the music world and became known as the Queen of Rock n’ Roll. This biographical musical features many of her beloved hits and tells the story of her incredible comeback to becoming one of the best-selling artists of all time.
Chicago
May 1 – 2, 2026
Come sing and dance (in your chair) along with the hit musical you already know and love! Chicago is the story of two notorious murderesses who battle it out for media attention set in the whirlwind of Chicago’s Jazz Age.
& Juliet
Jul 7 – 12, 2026
This groundbreaking new entry into the Broadway world is jukebox musical, meaning it makes use of current pop anthems to tell the story of life after Romeo. The quirky musical dares to ask the question, “What if Juliet did not end it all over Romeo?”
Hamilton

You definitely want to be in “the room where it happens” for this one! The perennially sold-out show from phenom Lin Manuel Miranda continues to fill seats and delight audiences more than ten years after it came into Broadway like a wrecking ball. It’s the epic saga of founding father Alexander Hamilton, whose dramatic downfall was eclipsed by the legacy he built in his short years.
