SAN ANTONIO — Santikos Entertainment has announced plans for two major developments in the Alamo City.
The San Antonio-based movie theater chain says the new projects will “showcase the next wave of Santikos’ innovation and serve as a blueprint for future developments across the region.”
Trinity Oaks, the new 33-acre development in the city’s north side near US Highway 281, will feature 10-12 screens, gaming areas, bowling lanes and a full-service sports bar with stadium seating—according to Santikos.
The development will include retail pad opportunities and even residential housing. Santikos says the project is targeted for completion in late 2027, with retail pads and product to be delivered by early next year.
“This project marks a significant step in our growth strategy,” said Blake Hastings, CEO of Santikos Entertainment. “We’re excited to bring a world-class entertainment destination to the area.”
Additionally, Santikos says a new state-of-the-art entertainment complex is coming to the far west side near Potranco Road and Highway 211.
The 20-acre development will feature luxury auditoriums, large format screens, bowling lanes, an arcade and “elevated” food and beverage experiences, according to a press release. The complex will also be surrounded by retail pads.
“We are creating destinations that bring people together,” said Hastings. “This is more than just movies – it’s an entertainment experience that will be unmatched.”
