SAPD: 1 dead, 2 critically injured after shooting in south-side parking lot

SAN ANTONIO — One person is dead and two others are critically injured after a shooting on the south side, SAPD says.

Police say two groups of people were involved in a verbal argument in the 900 block of SE Military around 9:35 p.m. Sunday night. Both groups left the location. The suspect vehicle allegedly followed the victims’ vehicle to the 100 block of SW Military, where they allegedly opened fire, striking all three people in the vehicle.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene and are at large as of Sunday night. It’s unclear how many people were in the vehicle.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the two other men were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, SAPD says. They are all estimated to be between 20-30 years old.
