An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg late Monday night outside an apartment complex near Babcock Road, police say.
SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old man was shot late Monday night following an altercation at a northwest side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police.
Officers were called around 11:30 p.m. to the Saddle Ridge Apartments in the 5700 block of North Knoll, near Babcock Road.
Police say the victim had been walking home from a nearby Valero when he got into an argument with several other males in the apartment parking lot. During the confrontation, the teen was shot in the leg.
He was transported to University Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
At this time, authorities have not released a suspect description or said how the shooter may have left the scene.
San Antonio police, fire crews and EMS all responded to the call. The investigation remains ongoing.
