A domestic disturbance at a south-side apartment complex led to a stabbing, leaving one person critically injured, SAPD says.
SAN ANTONIO — Three people were arrested after a domestic disturbance turned into a stabbing at a south-side apartment complex Sunday afternoon, SAPD says.
Police were called to an apartment complex in the 10200 block of South Zarzamora just before 3 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found a 26-year-old man and 23-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.
According to police, a 20-year-old woman arranged to meet a 19-year-old man at the apartment, so another man and woman could rob him. When the teen arrived, investigators said the pair pulled out a gun and demanded his belongings, leading to a physical altercation between the three.
During the fight, police said the teen was able to disarm the suspect and grabbed a nearby knife, stabbing both the man and woman multiple times.
According to SAPD, the man and woman were taken to the hospital and were later reported to be in stable condition before being arrested. The woman who set up the meetup was also arrested. All three are expected to face aggravated robbery charges. Original reports claimed the man sustained life-threatening injuries and was in critical condition.
It’s unclear if the incident happened inside the apartment or outside.
SAPD is continuing to investigate.
