SAN ANTONIO — Two suspects have been arrested after evading arrest from the Texas Anti-Gang unit, SAPD says.

SAPD says members of the Texas Anti-Gang unit tried to make a pedestrian stop on two men in their 20s that were walking near the Family Dollar in the 8700 block of Marbach Road around 4 p.m.

Police say the two suspects then took off running. They detained one shortly after, who allegedly had a weapon on him.

The other suspect went into the Family Dollar, also possessing a weapon, prompting employees and customers to exit the store, police say. After a while, the suspect came out and was taken into custody.
