SAN ANTONIO — A 3-year-old boy is dead after police say he drowned in a northeast-side pool at a family get-together.
First responders were called to the 14900 block of Nacogdoches for a drowning around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday night. During the get-together, the mother was cooking and asked one of the children where the other one was and he said he was in the pool.
The boy was found unresponsive. EMS tried CPR for about 30 minutes, but the boy was eventually pronounced dead.
There are no charges for anyone at this time as police say this was an accident.
