SAN ANTONIO — A vehicle driven by a 71-year-old woman accidentally backed into a north-side home Tuesday, according to SAPD.
Police were called to a home in the 900 block of Santa Monica Street just before 4:30 p.m. Once there, they discovered that the woman was trying to back up her vehicle when she accidentally stepped on the gas, causing the vehicle to speed up in reverse, crossing the street.
The vehicle then drove into another property, knocked down a fence and hit the front of a home in the neighborhood, according to police.
