SAPD: Argument between two relatives turns violent, ends with one stabbed

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

SAN ANTONIO — An argument between two family members on the west side escalated and ended with one critically injured from being stabbed, police say.

It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of SW 18th Street near South Zarzamora Steet.

Police say the 24-year-old suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the 25-year-old victim after their argument escalated.

The suspect then fled from the scene before police arrived.  

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

No word on whether charges will be filed.

This is still an active investigation.
