According to arresting documents, a 13-year-old girl was secretly recorded undressing herself in Flores’ office.
SAN ANTONIO — A former Holy Cross coach arrested one week ago was booked into Bexar County jail again where he faces another charge of invasive visual recording, allegedly involving an underage girl.
The first charge against 34-year-old Armando Flores was in relation to an alarm clock-styled camera that authorities indicated captured another coach undressing in his office.
After his first arrest, Flores told media he was innocent and that the “Truth will come out.”
Investigators with San Antonio learned Flores had purchased the HiSpyCam from Amazon in May.
Police recovered thumbnail images from a micro SD card that was inside the surveillance camera. Arresting documents say one of the images depicted 13-year-old girl changing her clothes inside Flores’ office.
The warrant states two deacons were captured on camera undressing in the office as well.
According to the warrant, Flores texted a former staff member, saying he recorded them having sex in his office. Documents say the staff member did not wish to pursue charges.
Investigators discovered text messages Flores allegedly sent to a student in 2023 that are sexual in nature. The student’s parent was notified about the texts but at this time, it’s unknown if additional charges will be filed against Flores.
Holy Cross provided this statement attributed to principal Dr. Rene Escobedo in response the latest arrest:
“Holy Cross commends the work of the SAPD as they continue this investigation. We continue to cooperate with all efforts to identify every victim so the Holy Cross family can support them with professional counseling, emotional support, and our prayers.”
As for Flores, he was released on bond.
