
San Antonio police arrest a suspect after a burglary escalated to a stabbing Friday night, with two victims sustaining minor injuries.
SAN ANTONIO — A suspect has been arrested following an alleged burglary took place Friday night.
San Antonio police say they were called to the 2000 block of South Zarzamora Street around 10:48 p.m. for a burglary in progress. On their way, that call was upgraded to a cutting in progress.
When officers arrived, two victims were found with minor injuries. One female victim was stabbed in the stomach area and taken to the hospital and one male victim was treated on scene to injuries to his face.
Police were able to knock on the suspect’s apartment door and they surrendered without incident.
No other injuries were reported.
It’s unclear what charges the suspect faces.
