When officers arrived at the scene they found the victim with a single gunshot wound to his head.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police have reported finding a body in a drainage ditch just north of downtown.
Officers were dispatched early Monday morning around 6:17 a.m. for reports of a cutting on Hildebrand Avenue near I-10. When officers arrived at the scene they found the male victim in a culvert underneath Hildebrand Ave. with a single gunshot wound to his head.
Homicide will be investigating this case as a murder.
