SAN ANTONIO — Two suspects are on the run with an unknown amount of stolen “property” after assaulting a store clerk on the near-south side, according to San Antonio police.
An incident report on the crime states officers responded to a store in the 400 block of Fair Avenue, right by Interstate 37, around 11:10 a.m. Saturday after receiving a call for a robbery in progress. There, the clerk reported that an “unknown suspect entered the location and began to physically assault him.”
“The two suspects began to grab property from behind the register and take it without paying for it,” the SAPD reports states.
Authorities said the clerk suffered minor injuries. It’s unclear exactly what items the suspects took.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday morning.
