SAN ANTONIO — An SAPD detective has been arrested for driving while intoxicated, officials say.
While off duty Friday, Detective Matthew Bennett was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. He has been placed on administrative duty, according to the department.
Detective Bennett has been with SAPD for nine years and is currently assigned to Central Patrol.
An administrative investigation is being conducted by SAPD.
