SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot in a possible road rage incident that happened on the east side of San Antonio, according to police.
It happened just before 10 a.m. on the access road of Interstate-10 at Foster Road, near the TA Travel Center.
Witnesses told officers that they saw two cars racing when the passenger inside one of them rolled down their window and shot at the other driver. That driver was hit by the gunfire and taken to the hospital.
The victim was alert and talking when he was transported, police say.
Witnesses told police that the suspect was inside a white SUV. No description was provided of the suspect or the driver of that vehicle.
The highway is shutdown near the scene as police continue to investigate the shooting.
