SAPD: Family disturbance leads to man being shot

It happened late Thursday night on the northwest side of town.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot during a family disturbance late Thursday night, according to police.

It happened in the 600 block of Shadwell Drive on the northwest side of town around 10:24 p.m.

Police responded to a call for a shooting in progress and found a man shot in his lower body. The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. 

Police say this all started as an ongoing family disturbance that escalated into a shooting. No description was provided of the suspect in this shooting.
