A man was shot after he became aggressive at a San Antonio home late Saturday night, authorities say.

SAN ANTONIO —  A man was shot late Saturday night after police say a get-together at a northeast-side home took a violent turn.

San Antonio police were called to a residence in the 5900 block of Spring Buck around 11 p.m.

SAPD said the homeowner had a couple of friends over when one guest’s behavior suddenly changed. The man reportedly became aggressive and threw up in the bathroom. When the homeowner asked him to leave, police say the msn became even more aggressive

Authorities said at some point, a gun was pulled, and the homeowner shot the man once in the lower body.

Investigators said the wounded man refused medical treatment and was not cooperating with officers. The homeowner, however, is cooperating with police. No other injuries were reported.

Police said the shooting may be considered self-defense, but that determination hasn’t been made yet. The investigation is ongoing.
