San Antonio police were still looking for the suspect after the Wednesday-night shooting near Woodlawn Lake Park.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio authorities say a young man was shot Wednesday night near Woodlawn Lake Park after dropping off a passenger he was giving a ride to.
The victim, identified only as a man in his 20s, was hospitalized in critical condition, police said. He was shot in the shoulder.
Law enforcement responded to the 2000 block of West Laurel, near Culebra Road, around 9 p.m. Police at the scene said the victim was shot there when the passenger – a man in his 30s using a service referred to as “Hood Uber,” likely not associated with the actual Uber service – refused to pay for the ride.
Authorities have not made an arrest as of Wednesday night.
