SAN ANTONIO — A late-night stop for chicken turned violent Tuesday night after a young man was cut multiple times during an aggravated robbery outside a southeast-side Raising Cane’s.
Police were called to the restaurant located on the 2300 block of SE Military Drive around 10:15 p.m.
Authorities said an 18-year-old man was sitting on the restaurant’s patio eating when he was approached by four teenage boys and two teenage girls. The group displayed a knife to the young man and began physically attacking him.
SAPD said the victim was cut multiple times and even sustained swelling to his body. The juveniles also stole the victim’s jewelry before fleeing the scene.
The young man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to an incident report.
