
The shooting suspect has not been located at this time. The only description given by police is that he is a black male.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are trying to a man accused of shooting someone Thursday night.
An SUV left an apartment complex located in the area of Camino Villa and Bandera Road, where authorities received reports of gunfire shortly before 8 p.m., according to SAPD Sgt. Daniel Gonzales. Soon after, that same SUV arrived at a nearby hospital where others in the car were trying to get the victim help.
From there, the unidentified man was taken to University Hospital where he could receive treatment for “life-threatening” gunshot wounds.
After investigation, it was determined by police that the 19-year-old victim went inside a residence with an unknown suspect to pick up some of his property.
While inside, “some kind of disturbance took place.”
Police say at least one shot was fired and the victim was shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this point.
