
San Antonio police seek the person responsible for shooting a man in the head on Sunday.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are looking for the person responsible for shooting a man in the head on the west side of town Sunday night.
Police were called to the area near Old Highway 90 and Cesar Chavez Way around 10:55p.m., and found a man next to his SUV with a gunshot wound to his head.
According to SAPD, the victim, identified as a 59-year-old man, was arguing with another man inside the bar. As both men exited the business the suspect went to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun. The suspect then shot the victim in the head.
Authorities said the victim was unresponsive but taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Preliminary information originally stated police were looking for a man and woman as possible suspects.
SAPD said this is an ongoing investigation.
