San Antonio police seek public help to find shooting suspects who killed a bystander.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are asking for the public’s help finding the suspects involved in a downtown shooting that left one man dead in mid-October.
According to SAPD, the suspects fired shots into a crowd, striking and killing 27-year-old Eric Walter Noble, who police say was an innocent bystander.
Police officers were called to the downtown area off East Commerce Street for a reported disturbance around 4 a.m., on Oct. 18.
Authorities said witnesses told them two suspects began fighting with a group of teens. During the fight one of the suspects pulled out a gun and began shooting at the teens, striking Noble, who was walking by and was not part of the altercation. A camera from a business on the River Walk captured the suspects fleeing after the shooting.
Police said the suspects were seen fleeing the area in a Nissan Altima and with the help of EAGLE tracking, multiple people were seen exiting the Nissan Altima near Burnet Street and Onslow before fleeing from officers a second time.
Investigators said a secure area was established nearby and two suspects were apprehended. A gun was also recovered. Police said the two people were arrested on charges not related to the shooting.
In an effort to identify the suspects, police posted a video of the suspects on Facebook. If you have information about these suspects or this incident you are encouraged to call 210-207-2457.
