A drive-by shooting near Alamo Ranch left one person critically injured.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Fire Department says a person has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being shot on the far west-side.
Around 3:20 p.m., officials responded to the 5700 block of West Loop 1604 North after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police said the preliminary investigation shows that a man was shot in a drive-by shooting while trying to enter his vehicle after dining at a nearby establishment.
The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene, according to police. Investigators said this appears to be a targeted attack.
The victim, who police say is about 29-years-old, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
