SAN ANTONIO — A man died after getting hit by a car near the northwest side Saturday night, according to San Antonio police.
Emergency responders were called to the 1000 block of Bandera Road just after 10 p.m. for a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Police said a man was attempting to cross Bandera Road when he was struck by a Dodge Nitro.
Authorities said the driver fled the scene before officers arrived.
No other information was provided.
