SAN ANTONIO — Five people were found shot outside of a northwest-side bar by police early Monday morning, including the two shooters who shot each other.
San Antonio Police responded to reports of a shooting around 12:45 a.m. to the Aura Bar & Lounge located in the Colonies North Shopping Center on Ironside Drive.
When officers arrived, they found that five people had been shot. Police say that a man was involved in some sort of a disturbance outside of the bar with a group of people on the patio and started shooting at them.
Another man pulled out his own weapon and fired back at the man. Both shooters ended up hitting each other, as well as three other innocent bystanders. Two out of the five people were in critical condition and all of them were taken to University Hospital. Two of the three injured bystanders are women and the third is a man. The Bexar County Medical Examiner has confirmed that one of the people shot, a 34-year-old man, has died from their injuries. Their identity has not been released.
This is a developing story.
