
Police discovered a man in his early 20s lying in the roadway. Police say he was shot multiple times, specifically in his neck and leg.
SAN ANTONIO — A man died from his injuries after police say he was shot multiple times near downtown Monday night.
Just before 9 p.m., San Antonio police were called to the intersection of North Colorado and Ruiz Street for a shooting in progress.
Once there, they discovered an unidentified man in his early 20s lying in the roadway. Police say he was shot multiple times, specifically in his neck and leg.
No witnesses were at the scene when police got here, but they say people told them later they saw three to four people fleeing the location on the railroad tracks after the alleged shooting.
Police are currently looking for those suspects. There’s no information on what they look like.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he reportedly died, according to police.
