SAPD: Man fatally shot ‘all over his body’ outside of TA Travel Center in San Antonio

Authorities said they found “multiple firearms and multiple shell casings” left on the scene but don’t have any suspects at this time.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department has confirmed a Hispanic male in late teens or 20s was fatally shot in the parking lot of the TA Travel Center in San Antonio.

Around 7 p.m., SAPD responded to the TA Travel Center located at 6100 Interstate 10 East after receiving reports of a shooting that took place in the parking lot.

Upon arrival, police located the victim dead in a vehicle with gunshot wounds “all over his body.”

Witnesses reportedly told police they saw three other vehicles drive off after firing shots into the victims vehicle.

Authorities said they found “multiple firearms and multiple shell casings” left on the scene but don’t have any suspects at this time and don’t yet know what led to the shooting.

Officials added they did find a firearm located with the victim in his vehicle but said it’s unclear if he fired any shots during the altercation.
