SAN ANTONIO — Police have confirmed a man, identified as Brison Jackson, was found fatally shot in the parking lot of a travel center on the east side of San Antonio.
Around 7 p.m., SAPD responded to the TA Travel Center located at 6100 Interstate 10 East after receiving reports of a shooting that took place in the parking lot.
When officers arrived, they found Jackson dead inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds “all over his body.”
Witnesses reportedly told police they saw other vehicles drive off after shots were fired into the victim’s vehicle. Police did not provide any other details on the suspect or suspects involved, but did say that two vehicles were seen fleeing from the location. Jackson’s vehicle rolled slowly into a wall and crashed following the gunfire.

Officials added they did find a firearm located with Jackson in his vehicle but said it’s unclear if he fired any shots during the altercation.
