Police say a man was pronounced dead at the scene after officers responded to an early morning shooting call.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is dead after an apparent self-inflicted shooting early Saturday morning on the northwest side of San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were dispatched around 1:44 a.m. to the 7600 block of Autumn Park, not far from Prue Road, for a reported shooting in progress.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say it’s still unclear what led up to the incident, and the man’s identity has not yet been confirmed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
