SAPD: Man found dead behind laundromat on west side

Investigators are working to figure out whether the man shot himself or someone else shot him.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was found dead behind a laundromat Thursday night, San Antonio police say. 

Police responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. on Culebra Road near I-10. 

Officers discovered the man but the weapon used was missing. 

Investigators are working to figure out whether the man shot himself or someone else shot him. 

The medical examiner has not identified the man. 

Police say this is an ongoing investigation. 

No other information was provided.
