The accident happened early Monday morning on Highway 151 on the west side of town.
A man was found unconscious and pinned inside his vehicle following a crash with a traffic cone early Monday morning, San Antonio Police say.
It happened on the far west side of town around 2 a.m. on Highway 151, not far from Loop 410.
When officers arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the 72-year-old victim unconscious and stuck in his vehicle.
Firefighters extricated him from the car and he was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say he showed no signs of intoxication.
Police were able to determine that he had been traveling northbound on Hwy 151 when his vehicle struck a large traffic cone and he lost control, eventually crashing into the center median.
