SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department is on the scene of a shooting where a man was grazed on the back of the head by an AR-15 style gun during an argument west of downtown.

Around 2:50 p.m., SAPD responded to the intersection of North San Marcos and west Martin Streets after receiving reports of a shooting.

Preliminary information from police suggests an argument between two men led to one being grazed in the back of the head after the other fired shots.

Upon arrival, officers found the 33-year-old victim with non-life-threatening injuries and witnesses began to identify and point SAPD to the alleged shooter.

Witnesses said the suspect shot his weapon from inside the residence during the argument, and police were able to detain the alleged gunman.

The 44-year-old suspect was found with an AR-15 style gun inside his home and police believe this was the weapon used during the shooting.
